Heather – “Great Results – and a very positive experience!”
Heather Robinson– Heather had been a member for 2 months and got really good results at her 1st review. “How many inches did you lose, Heather?” “8.25 inches, 1.8 lbs and 2.1% body fat”. We had to measure it twice to make sure we got it right, didn’t’ we? So, that’s really good – you’re disappearing on us! “Not quite”, quips Heather, “a bit to go!”
How have you found the experience of coming in here to do your workouts? “Very positive, yeah”, says Heather, “I really enjoy it – bouncy music”. Have you been to a gym before, and how does it compare? “This is smaller”, said Heather, “and the machines are entirely different because the gym I went to was a traditional one with weights and all”. In terms of the environment here, are you coping ok?
“Yes, yes I am, you can always ask anybody if there’s a problem” Yes, you do get good support here. Heather has slotted in really well here. So, if you want good results, like Heather, you have to come down here and get on with it!
Heather was No. 10 in our Top Stars for Nov/Dec 23.
Eileen – “All very friendly, lovely coaches and a good Workout”
Eileen Harris – “Eileen has only been here a month but she’s done really well! She was in competition with her friend, Denise, who joined at the same time.
Denise lost 10.5 ins, and how many inches do you lose, Eileen? “10.5”! And you lost a good amount of weight as well, 3.8 lbs! But the body fat – that was staggering – 1.9% you lost, wasn’t it? Really good – anything up to 1% is good, so that was about double what we would normally expect. We double-checked it, cos, I was like, That’s a lot! “So, did you have to work really, really hard to get those results? Eileen nods and smiles-fantastic. “Were you trying to lose weight, or did that just happen from exercising?” Eileen agrees, “I was trying to lose weight.”
“How do you find the workout?” “Alright”, says Eileen. “And the experience here?” “been very friendly”, said Eileen. “Do you enjoy coming?” Eileen nods, “yes”. Everybody else here is kind of in the same boat – you don’t get any gym bunnies looking you up and down, going, what are you doing here? The coaches are all lovely and you’ve done really well and you’ve got your numbers now and you’re working it hard, so brilliant – well done you and thanks for telling us about that! Eileen was No. 4 in Nov/Dec Top Stars!
Penny – 2700 Workouts! – “Penny just keeps going..and going.. and going!”
Penny just keeps going and going and …! 2700 workouts! We asked Penny how she has managed to keep going for so…oo long. “I enjoy the buzz I get from exercising and also pride myself on my self-discipline.
LFF has always been very friendly and welcoming and I look forward to meeting up with friends during my workouts. As I get older, I am even more aware of the importance of doing a variety of different exercises and of moving every part of the body. The circuit at LFF is ideal for this and I also enjoy walking regularly, doing the aerobics and hula-hooping at LFF. I now need to keep active, not only for myself, but to be able to run around after my very lively 2 and half yr old grandson! Keep going Penny!
