Nina – “Everybody is really friendly and encouraging!”
Nina Robinson – Nina, with the gorgeous nails and lovely hair, has been a member for just over a month and has managed to sustain 3 workouts per week. This is very special for Nina:
“I haven’t been able to accomplish any exercise for such a long time and I feel tired and out of shape, so this is a positive enjoyment for me to do and it’s helping me.”
Nina has had MS for 4 and a half years and this is the first exercise that she has managed to keep going. “I’m really surprised – it’s quite encouraging that I’m able to do this.”
The main thing is our 30-sec interval (it doesn’t overtire the muscles) and it’s only a 30-minute workout (doesn’t overtire the body)!
Nina did well with her review as well.
“I lost 1.5 ins, 0.8lbs and 0.6% body fat – I‘ve had a loss and that’s really good, I’m pleased with that!” Obviously, with MS, you can’t work as hard as everybody else, especially if you want to sustain it. “Yes, I struggle with movement and balance and energy levels drop quite a lot. Energy levels have been good- it’s quite encouraging how well I feel after doing the exercise and I feel like I can do more.”
When asked about what she like about LFF, Nina says,
“I like the fact that it is ladies, and everybody is really friendly and encouraging and they just chat to people. The instructors are so kind and keep us going. I take the time to come and do us – it’s really important. I still work full-time and I come after work – I want to do this.”
Bev – “Always there with the knowledge and the friendliness to support and push you!”
Bev Rhodes – Bev has been a member for just over a month, she’s getting up early in the morning for an 8:30 am workout! Bev had her 1st month review and she did really well. Her response,
“I was surprised at the inch loss and the body fat loss. I lost 10.25 ins, 2.8 lbs and 1.5% body fat”.
That’s about double the average for a month! When asked what she liked about coming to Ladies First Fitness, Bev said,
“I like the fact that I make an appointment, so I keep the appointment. I was initially quite skeptical about the speed of the 30-sec interval – just do 10 reps, then move on – I thought how is that going to work? I think maybe the 3rd time I came, I worked out a bit more of how to do the machines, so I could feel it. But the fact that there’s always someone in the middle to say, do this, or push this, or whatever, that makes such a difference. And the fact that there is someone always there with the knowledge and the friendliness to support and push you to do what’s best.”
When asked whether she was going to stick with it, Bev said,
“Yes!” It’s now recorded and she can’t give up now! “Hold it against me”, Bev quipped! Well done, Bev, for getting started and keeping going! Bev was also No. 7 Top Star for Sep/Oct!

Sarah is our No.1 Top Star for Nov/Dec! She lost 11.75 ins, 6 lbs and 2.5% body fat in her first month. To think she was nearly too nervous to join! She looks a different person since she joined and has now lost a total of 18.5 ins, 1 stone and 3.5 % body fat!
Denise was No.2 Top Star – lost 10.5 ins, 6.6 lbs and 1.6% body fat. Tess was No. 3 and lost 8.75 ins, 7.8 lbs and 0.7% body fat.
Cyndy – 400 Workouts! – “Great atmosphere – always look forward to it!”
Cyndy hit 400 Workouts recently and had this to say about LFF:
“I have improved flexibility, improved balance, improved stamina and I’m more motivated in general! I love that it’s just us girls! ; we have fab trainers who always have time to help; great exercise machines that are better for you than most of the ones in other gyms; fun aerobics routines and a great atmosphere! I always look forward to my sessions!“
That’s a gym she’s talking about ladies! … not gin! Great work Cyndy!
Jan – 300 Workouts – “Good atmosphere here”.
Jan hit 300 workouts and has noticed that she’s more supple, feels stronger in arms and legs and her balance has definitely improved. About LFF, Jan said,
“ I’ve made great friends, there’s a good atmosphere here with everyone and there are great coaches (experts). I know I’ve worked after the workout and I feel really good. There is great support here- the coaches are aware and supportive of physical problems/ injuries and also emotional stresses etc. “.

Chris hits 500! – “Operates like a Club!”
Chris receives a complimentary bottle of wine as she hits 500 workouts! Awesome milestone, Chris! Chris likes the happiness/feel good factor of working out, also the stamina and toning. And she appreciates the friendship she finds here. Chris said she also appreciated the personal touch here, compared to other gyms. “Ladies First Fitness is not competitive and operates like a club”. Well done, Chris!
